How this site is written, checked and corrected
Last updated
Every page on this site is reviewed by people at Mavrin Labs, rests on a source that is named, carries a date that means something, and is corrected in the open when it is wrong. This page says how each of those works, so a reader can judge a guide before relying on it.
Who writes and reviews what this site publishes?
Pages are reviewed by people at Mavrin Labs, and nothing here is bought from an outside content agency or a freelance marketplace. AI tools help with research and drafting, as the section on AI tools below explains, and a page reaches the site only after someone in the firm has checked each fact in it against the source named for that fact. What the firm is, and who it builds for, is on the about page.
How is content researched?
Content is researched from two kinds of source and no others. Facts about Mavrin Labs come from its own claims register, whose public part is the sources page, and each row there records who confirmed the fact and when. Facts about the wider world come from the organization that published them, linked, with the date the source was read.
- Facts about the firm
- Only from the claims register, which records who confirmed each fact and the date it was confirmed.
- Facts about the world
- Only from the organization that published them, named and linked, with the date the source was read.
- Nothing else
- No fact is added to fill a section, reach a word count or round out a list.
How is content checked before it goes live?
Content is checked twice before it goes live: once by a person against the sources named in the draft, and once by the build that publishes it. The build refuses a page that states a fact with no register row behind it, that still holds stand-in wording, or that uses language this firm has ruled out. A page failing either check does not ship.
How is content dated?
Content carries the date it was last updated, written with its weekday so that no reader has to guess which day is meant, and every guide in the resources library also shows when it was first published. A date moves only when the wording moves with it. No page here is re-dated to look fresher than it is, which is the one thing a date is for.
How are errors corrected?
Errors are corrected quickly and in the open. Write to mavrinlabs@gmail.com with the page and what looks wrong, and a confirmed error is fixed on the page itself with a dated note saying what changed. A correction is never made silently, because a reader who relied on the old wording deserves to see that it moved.
How are AI tools used in this work?
AI tools help with research and drafting on this site, and every page they touch is reviewed by a person at Mavrin Labs before it is published. No page lists a tool as its author and no vendor is named, because what matters to a reader is who stands behind the words rather than which software helped assemble them. AI assistance is explained once, here, instead of in a notice on every page.
What is the business model, and are there conflicts of interest?
Mavrin Labs earns by building systems for clients, and selling that work is the only business model it has. The firm takes no sponsorship, no affiliate commission and no payment for mentioning anyone, so a guide recommends an approach because it works rather than because someone paid for the line. It runs no advertising either, for itself or for a client, and it names no client of its own.
Which hours would you take back first?
Send Mavrin Labs one workflow that is costing you the most time, and the reply comes back by email from the people who would build the fix.
